About Us

Maths and Science Teacher turned potter Brian Started Woodside Ceramics with wife Amanda in 2018. In 2023 opening what is now their Dayboro store Brian began by providing hand made ceramics and lessons to the community. With the introduction of coffee later that year the response from the community was positive and with the growth of the coffee side of the business and the birth of our first child Brian's lack of time caused the ceramics part to subside. 

Now focusing solely on the Cafe, Brian has expanded his offering in the Dayboro store and has created a new location in Samford next to a beautiful plants and homewares store. Jimmy Pickles cafe now fosters the country community vibe  whilst serving Fonzie Abbott Coffee.
